Stob Ban & Mullach nan Coirean

Hike the mountains less travelled- Stob Ban (the white mountain) and Mullach nan Coirean sit opposite the iconic Ben Nevis. The walk takes in forested slopes, gentle streams and waterfalls, granite and  quartzite rock. A much quieter  walk than the busier tourist paths with stunning 360 views and rawer feeling Munro's that immerse you in nature.

The Lost Valley Munro's

Steeped in history, the beauty of the Lost Valley speaks for itself. Part of one of the most photographed mountain ranges- the 3 Sisters, we walk up Bidean nam Bian and Stob Coire Screamhach, with an option to camp.

Braeriach to Cairn Toul Traverse
"The Wells of Dee Route"

A truly Epic 2 days out!

Traversing the Chalamain Gap, a rocky pass brings us to the foot of the 3rd highest Munro in Scotland- Braeriach. A steep climb up and the summit is achieved. From here above 1200 metres the Wells of Dee are found, the source of the river Dee, a truly magical spot. We Traverse around the high ridge taking in Angels Peak, Cairn Toul and on to the Devils Point. All the while looking back at the Dee cascading off the mountain in an impressive waterfall.

After descending to the bothy for an overnight camp, the walk out follows the deep Glen of the Lairig Ghru back to the start.

The Ring of Steall

A classic mountain route ticking off 4 Munro's- An Gearanach, Stob Coire a Chairn, Am Bodach and Sgurr a'Mhaim. A 9-12 hour day with great views and some exposure on the Devils Ridge.

Knoydart Camp and Ladhar Bheinn

Meeting at Mallaig for a short ferry ride to Inverie. 

We will hike into the Gleann na Guiserein for our first nights camp. The next day we walk up the Munro Ladhar Bheinn, collect the tents on the way out and hike to Inverie Bay for our second nights camp, before the ferry in the morning back to Mallaig.

The Loch Mullardoch Round- 12 Munro's 

4 days of walking and camping, with most of it spent above 700 metres. This huge loop of 12 Munro's is for the serious adventurer! 

Carrying all your gear requires a very good level of fitness.

Glen Affric- Kintail Way

80km over 4 days and nights.

Starting in Drumnadrochit and ending at Morvich campsite. This long distance walk goes through Glen Affric, ancient pine forests, past lochs and rivers. A beautiful walk where an average fitness level is required.

Falls of Glomach

Cycling in from Killilan for 8.5km, then walking up the Alt a' Ghlomaich, is the best way to approach the falls! A good head for heights is needed as the path is thin in places.

Navigation Course

Most people have basic map-reading skills, but to wander off a path and know where you are takes more training. 

If you would like to build your confidence with a half day of navigation training or a whole weekend, either in the Pentlands near Edinburgh or finding your way in the Highlands, contact me to discuss the options.

The Cobbler and Beinn Narnain

Threading the Needle on the Cobbler is an eye-opening experience. A challenging experience for a Corbett.

With great views over the Arrochar Alps, once we have summited the Cobbler, it's over to Beinn Narnain, the higher of the two.

Ben Cruachan Horseshoe

Made famous by Andor season 1. The Cruachan Horseshoe passes by the dam that feeds the hydro in the mountain. 

Walking over 4 summits in a big loop - Ben Cruachan (Munro), Drochaid Ghlas, Stob Daimh (Munro) and Stob Garbh.
